Privacy Policy
Last updated: [PLACEHOLDER: date]
This policy explains what information Debt Solution Wizard collects on this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" mean Debt Solution Wizard.
The short version
- We do not ask for your name, email, or phone number. This site has no forms.
- We use cookies, the Meta Pixel, and the Meta Conversions API to measure how our ads work.
- When you tap a call button, we record some technical details about that tap.
- Your phone call is answered by a debt relief specialist.
What we do not collect
We do not collect names, email addresses, home addresses, or any other details through forms. There are no forms on this site. Our chat helper uses buttons only. You cannot type into it.
What we collect when you visit
When you open this site, we and Meta may collect:
- The pages you look at and when.
- Your IP address.
- Your approximate location (your state), worked out from your IP address. We use it only to ask if you live in that state. We do not use it to find your street address.
- Your browser and device type (this is called the user agent).
- The web address you came from, including any ad tags in it.
- Cookies, as explained below.
What we collect when you tap to call
When you tap a call button, we record:
- Click IDs from the ad you clicked, such as fbclid.
- Meta cookies called _fbc and _fbp.
- Your IP address.
- Your browser and device type (user agent).
- UTM tags and ad details in the web address, such as the campaign, ad set, and ad you clicked.
- Which call button you tapped, such as the one at the top of the page or the one at the bottom.
- Your answers to the quick questions at the top of the page and the chat helper's buttons, such as the range your debt falls in (for example "$10,000 to $25,000"), "Yes" or "No," and the state you chose.
- The page address, the time of the tap, and a random visit ID.
We do not get your phone number from the website. The website only opens your phone's dialer.
How we use this information
- To see which ads lead to phone calls.
- To improve our ads and this website.
- To match a call to the ad that led to it.
- To keep this site working and safe.
Cookies and the Meta Pixel
Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. We use cookies so the site works and so we can measure our ads.
The Meta Pixel is a small piece of code from Meta Platforms, Inc. It runs on this site. It tells Meta when you visit a page or tap a call button. The Meta Conversions API sends the same kind of call tap details from our server to Meta. Meta uses this to tell us how our ads are doing, and may use it to show ads. Meta's own privacy policy explains how Meta uses this information: Meta Privacy Policy.
Who we share information with
We share the click details listed above with service providers that help us run this site and our ads:
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to measure our ads.
- Our hosting provider, which runs this website.
- Our call-handling platform, which connects and tracks phone calls so we can see which ads lead to calls.
These providers may use the information only to provide services to us, or as their own policies allow. We may also share information if the law requires it.
[PLACEHOLDER: lawyer to confirm any state privacy law notices, such as California and other states, and whether ad measurement counts as "sharing" or "selling" under those laws.]
Your phone call
During specialist hours, a debt relief specialist answers. Outside those hours, an automated (AI) voice assistant answers and may take down basic details so a specialist can follow up. The specialist may ask you questions about your debt. What you share on the call is handled by the specialist's company under its own privacy terms. The specialist can tell you about those terms on the call.
[PLACEHOLDER: lawyer to confirm call recording notices and who is responsible for information shared on calls.]
Your choices
You can limit ad tracking at any time:
- Meta ad settings: change how Meta uses your activity for ads at Meta ad preferences.
- Browser cookie settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Look in your browser's settings or privacy menu.
- Industry opt out: you can opt out of some interest based ads at aboutads.info.
Blocking cookies will not stop the call buttons from working.
How long we keep information
We keep click details only as long as we need them to measure our ads. [PLACEHOLDER: how long click data is kept.]
Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has used this site, please contact us.
Changes to this policy
